Today, we went to the "Hundemesse" (dog exhibition) in Winterthur. It was pretty busy. We have seen the introductions to several breeds (Akira for instance) and that was interesting. There were also many stands with lots of information and dog accessories, dog food, dog training etc. etc.
I was very good, btw, I only bought the one book (that I was planning to buy anyway) and NOTHING else! No food bowl, no collar/leash, no toys, no nothing. I am proud of myself, LOL!
However... what made the biggest impression on me today was the Dogdance tournament! I had never heard of Dogdance and wasn't sure what to expect. We saw several performances and I loved it!! It looks like GREAT FUN to do, for both human and dog. The dogs looked totally happy and the things they showed were incredible.
I want to do that with our dog too! (But with better music, of course ;-) )
I have filmed some performances and this is the one that I liked best:

LOL. Wow, I am impressed. I can't say I liked it. But I am impressed by the dog and it's trainer and... you know what I mean, don't you. LOL
Yes, I know what you mean. :D
Hi Main
The Dog Dance looks like it would be great fun for all involved. Dogs do enjoy interaction with their owners and they really like structure. I have started taking a half hour walk with my dogs every day of the week. They are really getting into the safety training I do with them along the way.
Walking your dogs is the best thing you can do for them. But I am sure you know that now you have listened to Cesar Millan's book! :D
