Joggers - no problem! Cows - SCARY!!

Yesterday morning, I took Wesha for a walk where there are often joggers. She was off the leash and when I saw a jogger coming up, I would call her to me and let her sit (giving her a reward for that) and then I let her sit until the jogger was far enough so that she wouldn't want to run after him/her. In the 10 - 12 minutes that we were on this path, we saw 2 joggers. And both times, Wesha did really well. She did watch the joggers, but she stayed put until I released her.

Then I saw someone with Nordic Walking sticks coming up. I was quite happy about it, because I want her to get used to that too. But the Nordic Walker found Wesha so cute, that she didn't walk past us, but came to us to say hello. So that ended our exercise. But oh well. There will be other occasions.

We also walked past a field with 2 cows... now those are SCARY animals!! Wesha didn't dare getting near the fence they were behind. I talked to the cows, to show Wesha they are not scary, but she barked and stayed well away from the fence.

Seeing something interesting:

Here she comes running after I have called her:
