"Real Life"

Today "real life" is starting again for us. The kids have gone back to school after their summer holiday. So I am a lot more alone with Wesha. On one hand I am glad, because she is so much calmer when the kids (and Reto) are not around. On the other hand it is harder for me, because I cannot leave Wesha alone yet.

Even going upstairs or downstairs is hard now. Wesha is not allowed anywhere but our ground floor. And she panics when she is alone. Strangely enough, the nights she is doing fine. But when I put her in her bench during the day and disappear for a short while, she is very scared. So from today on, we will just have to practise this. I will only put her in the bench with something nice to eat or chew (filled kong or dried ox nerve) and leave her in there for a couple of minutes each time.
