We put up the tunnel on Monday already and Wesha really enjoyed that. (Unfortunately, I didn't get a good pic of her running through the tunnel yet!) Yesterday, she explored our slide, together with Lorenzo. He walked up the slide and Wesha tried to follow him. There were some funny scenes, when she slid back down again.
And today, I put out the kiddy pool in the garden. It was very hot yesterday and it will be hot again today, so Wesha might like to cool off in the water. She was very careful at the beginning and it took a while until she put all four paws in... but then she did it anyway.
Oh and by the way, the night went really well. I had put my matrass far away from her bench, she could still see it, but not my face. She whimpered for a few minutes and then she slept until 05.45. To my surprise she doesn't even need to pee immediately after waking up. She first greeted me with GREAT enthusiasm and when we went outside, it took quite a while before she peed. I am so happy that she sleeps through the nights.
This morning, the restless phase after breakfast was not as bad either. She really did better. She also starts playing more by herself. Racing around the room and sometimes taking a toy into her dog bed to play with it.
We went for another walk too this morning. It was pretty boring, nothing special happened. We saw another dog, I lifted Wesha and the other owner put her dog on the leash. She told me her dog doesn't like puppies. So we just chatted for a minute and then we each went our way. On the way back home, I drove an extra round in our village and Wesha had a few short moments of being quiet in the back of the car. But most of the time she still howled and barked and whimpered. I once praised her in a quiet moment and then she immediately started again, so I think I will not do that anymore.
