We are getting there! Last night, when I put Wesha in her bench, she only whimpered for about 10 minutes and she was a lot less loud than the two previous nights. I put her in the bench when I saw that she was looking for a place to sleep. I gave her the stuffed Kong. That kept her quiet for a few minutes and then she started to whimper. But as I said not long and not as loud. It was about 22.45 and she slept through until 05.10 this morning. Unfortunately, she didn't go back sleep after I let her pee. She was unsettled again until just now. Now she is sleeping again.
I wonder why she is so restless in the mornings. I let her out in the garden to pee and poo. Then I try to stall a bit before I give her breakfast. After breakfast she whimpers and barks. I played a bit with her, but she got really rough and wild. She also played a bit alone, in the dog bed with her "Georgie Duck" (thanks, "auntie" Kathleen!). But then she just couldn't settle down. For the first time since she moved in here, she went into the garden alone. I watched her through the window and followed her after a minute, because I didn't want to give her the feeling that I am not there for her. I am glad that she is feeling so well in the garden now.
Today, I will take her for her first short walk. I think she is ready for that now. I will take her by car, to let her get used to that too. It will be only 2 minutes in the car. I hope that way she will associate the car with nice walks afterwards.

Hiya, Wesha is such a cutie, reminds me of the time Jessie was little (although she didn't make such a fuss of going to bed). As you might have noticed, she will have your life turned upside down in a heartbeat and you will love her for it
Hi,
yes, it is changing my life and I do already love her for it. :)
